Menhaj Huda – Director
Menhaj Huda is the award winning director of the British feature film, “Kidulthood”. Having worked in music videos, commercials and youth TV programmes in the early 90’s, his film career began with the award winning short film “Jump Boy”. This was followed by the ground breaking TV dramas “Queer As Folk 2”, “Is Harry on The Boat?” and a string of prime time British dramas including “Murphy’s Law” and “Blue Murder”.
His second feature film “Everywhere & Nowhere” was released in 2011 and the urban horror-thriller “Comedown” in 2013. He continues to direct TV dramas while preparing his next feature film projects – recent credits include “Young Dracula” (BBC), Coronation Street (ITV) and The Royals (E! Channel/Lionsgate)
He is an elected Board Member of Directors UK and chairs their BAME Directors Campaign.
