MonologueSlam is a nationwide industry showcase for actors from all backgrounds. 22 actors are given the opportunity to perform for a welcoming audience and a panel of industry professionals who are in a position to move their careers forward. This event helps performers that may not have access to the usual routes into the industry and provides agents and casting directors with an avenue to source fresh talent.
The show consists of a youth round (performers aged between 11-17) 1 minute round and 3 minute round, where each actor will perform a monologue of their choice.
December’s MonologueSlam is the National Final, where winners of MonologueSlam 2017 throughout the regions (and London) are all invited to perform once again.
See what London has to offer on 11 December at Theatre Royal Stratford East.
At TriForce, we’re committed to making our events accessible to everyone. MonologueSlam London is held at Theatre Royal Stratford East which is an accessible venue. Find out more here.

Growing up in a musical and theatrical family, entertainment was always the goal. A brief stint in the corporate world gave Alison insight on how to ͞play the game͟ but after many years craved something more creative – and with a smile and an oath to never wear pantyhose again, she hopped a plane to Los Angeles After spending a few years in commercial casting with Kris Nicolau, Alison felt the urge to move on again to the talent management company Bohemia Group, where she began to manage actors. It was here where the casting bug hit her again. She was asked to cast the film Big Heart City. Working with actors(and more then a few lines of dialogue) made her realize that casting films was a whole new world and she wanted to be a part of it
Since this realization, Alison has built up a diverse casting resume. She has cast union and nonunion films, traditional format and new media, small and larger budget films and she has a knack for being able to attach professional and skilled talent no matter what the budget of the film. She only has one caveat – a passion for the script. In management, Alison is the Executive VP on a team who manages clients around the world. From series regulars to actors just starting in the business, Bohemia likes to think they keep actors feet on the ground without killing their dreams. Working in management and casting has allowed Alison to be a control freak in multiple areas –which she likes As you can see, Alison is currently enjoying a functioning workaholic existence in London, Los Angeles and Auckland, “Have bag, will travel – like my clients”.
