Ian grew up in Scunthorpe with Van Damme and De Niro movies for inspiration. After training at the National Youth Theatre, his passion for the arts led him to London to study at the Arts Educational Schools. Having graduated and worked as an actor for over 10 years, he founded the production & finance company Sharp House (formerly Achilles Entertainments) with his wife Rebecca in 2009, merging entrepreneurial experiences with their passion for film. Ian is currently in post-production on Sharp House’s third feature The Marker, a crime thriller backed by Creative England and stars Frederick Schmidt (Snow in Paradise, Brimstone) John Hannah (The Mummy Series) and Ana Ularu (InfernoEmerald City). Other films credits include Pleasure Island, theatrically released in the UK in 2015 and KickOff, distributed by Peccadillo Pictures. Sharp House is a co-founder of The Female Film Leaders Forum and proud sponsor of the TriForce Creative Network.

Feature film credits include Child Casting (UK) for Warner Bros’ “PAN” & “GET SANTA” produced by Ridley Scott.  Plus she is associate on Mick Jackson’s “DENIAL”, “BEIRUT” & “THIS BEAUTIFUL FANTASTIC” directed by Simon Aboud.

Further past film casting searches include “ANNA KARENINA”, “71”, “WRATH OF THE TITANS” & “THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY.”

She has also had the pleasure of working on “A SEASON IN THE CONGO” directed by Joe Wright for the Young Vic Theatre.  Isabella began her casting career specialising in child casting/young person searches, and to this day she still very much enjoys seeking young talent and looks forward to joining the Monologue Slam panel this September.

Nicci Topping
Casting Director

Nicci Topping Casting is the brainchild of Nicci Topping, a unique human dynamo and Yorkshire entrepreneur who was always bound to help make magic in the creative industries.

Working across entertainment, advertising , film and all associated creative industries you certainly know when you’ve met her. The ambition, the wit, the humour and an unforgettable presence.

Even as a child from her bedroom in a terraced house in Huddersfield Yorkshire, she’d watch plays on TV and wonder and dress up her Barbie and then cast her for her own major production!

Some things are meant to be. After leaving college she landed a job as a casting assistant and worked on her first TV advert and the rest was history, Within 6 months she was regularly working between London, Manchester, Leeds and Huddersfield as a Casting Director shortly followed by her opening her own business Topps Casting.

Award nominations and literally hundreds of superstar placings later – TOPPS is now a premier company in the UK – a trusted favourite for agencies, advertisers, TV , production companies, Theatre and film. All who need the right kind of talent in the right role. Now.

The story of the girl from Huddersfield could actually read like a film of her own, (although she’d be too humble to admit it) having also changed the lives of many an aspiring actor or model over the years.

Whats next for Nicci and the people who call her number? You can check out her blog out at niccitopping.com to find out

Jamie Lewis
Singer-Songwriter & Talent Manager / MD of Cre8 Talent

Born and raised in East London and a proud father to Norwegian born eight-year-old Tia Arielle. A passionate lover of people, life and music.

From an early age, Jamie has been immersed in music and the arts. Always finding an opportunity to be on stage, whether it be acting or singing.  With a Soul / Reggae and Rare Grooves DJ father, music laid a solid foundation.

Working throughout his life as an agent / talent manager in the city, Jamie has always kept his hand in performing, singing and writing. He gained his first writing credit penning a track for Brian Harvey on his Wyclef Jean collaboration “Loving you” in 2001. In 2012, after many life lessons, he decided to give himself a rest from city life for a little music time, to find out if he could succeed in this area. With focus, networking, hard work, skill and timing, he quickly gained publishing, management and started collaborating with an array of well known and emerging artists and producers. Though not in his desired genre.

So after a successful run of releases in the House/Dance music scene (with 9 tracks releases + 22 remixes, 6 releases reaching the top 10 charts. Recently having his vocals and lyrics from hit Feel Your Love used by Flux Pavilion in his latest release on Circus Records) he made the choice to take a break from the House scene to focus on another passion.

This passion is his talent agency, Cre8 Talent. An actors agency, Cre8 Talent works with directors, producers, writers, casting directors to create TV/Film/Print and stage opportunities (utilising his 16+ years of experience and filling the gap in his heart, of helping people/artists to achieve their goals). Alongside this in his down time he has been developing a new music project based around Soul/RnB and a touch of Hip Hop.

After visiting many MonologueSlams and becoming a fan, Jamie is breaking his silence to perform a one-off show and give you the first taste of what he has coming in early 2017, he will perform some of his new original work music and collaborations.

For this show he has asked along Special Guests and friend performers:

Grime God father – D Double E and MC Zani – UK beatbox champion and part of The Beatbox Collective (2015 World Beatbox Champions). Claire Louise on support vocals.

I adore all that TriForce are, do and represent. I feel exceptionally lucky for all that you've given me. I'm in a great place, with a new agent - Gordon and French - and my second TV job ahead. I honestly wouldn't be in this place without the support and opportunities given to me through The Actors Gym with the fabulous Babou, MonologueSlams and ongoing advice and guidance from the entireTriForce team. THANK YOU!

I’ve been to Monologue Slam twice and have been amazed by the level of talent I’ve seen. It’s a great evening and a chance to meet new actors. It’s led to actors coming to meet with us and even gaining roles in some of our projects. I can’t wait to go again.
