Thinking of auditioning for MonologueSlam but a bit unsure what to expect? Perhaps you want to get some advice from the MonologueSlam team before the audition day, or want to make sure you’ve chosen the right monologue?
MonologueSlam’s London Producer, Jordan Pitt, will be running these new workshops from TriForce Creative Network. The workshops are to help you prepare for the audition day, either through working on a monologue you’ve selected, or by providing you with some practice material. The workshops will be in small groups of no more than 15 performers, ensuring you get the attention you need to get your performance ready for the unique experience of a MonologueSlam audition.
All participants will be guaranteed a free audition slot for the next MonologueSlam auditions.
Time: Please select either 11.00 – 15.00 or 15.30 – 19.30
Tutor: Jordan Pitt
What to Prepare: It will help to bring a monologue with you that you would like to perform for MonologueSlam. You don’t have to be completely ‘off book’ but it helps to be familiar with the material. If you are struggling with finding an appropriate monologue, Jordan will provide some material for you to work with during the workshop and suggest monologues that might be suitable for you to prepare for the audition.
