MonologueSlam London October Winners!
MonologueSlam London returned to Stratford East for the penultimate London slam of the year. Judging the 22 performances were casting directors Beatrice Ray, Shakyra Dowling and Emma Sylvester. Agents James Davies from Sainou and Alice Coles from The Artists Partnership and director Greg Hall completed the judging panel.

Shanaie Sommersall was the chosen winner of the Youth Round for her performance of ‘Like a Virgin’ by Gordon Steel. Roisin Keogh won the one minute round for her performance of ‘Hang Up’ by Anthony Minghella. Jade-Marie Joseph won the three minute round with the monologue ‘Den of Thieves’ by Stephen Adly Guirgis.
The overall winner voted for by the judges was Roisin Keogh.
The judges had an incredibly tough decision to make in selecting winners, therefore awarded special mentions for each round also.
