MonologueSlam is a nationwide industry showcase for actors from all backgrounds. 22 actors are given the opportunity to perform for a welcoming audience and a panel of industry professionals who are in a position to move their careers forward. This event helps performers that may not have access to the usual routes into the industry and provides agents and casting directors with an avenue to source fresh talent.

The show consists of a youth round (performers aged between 11-17) 1 minute round and 3 minute round, where each actor will perform a monologue of their choice.

See what London has to offer on 25th February 2019 at Theatre Royal Stratford East.

Tickets are now available to book.

At TriForce, we’re committed to making our events accessible to everyone. MonologueSlam London is held at Theatre Royal Stratford East which is an accessible venue. Find out more here.

Special Guests

  • Elle Cato
    Elle Cato
Elle Cato

THE artiste formerly known as LORRAINE CATO has now been officially rebranded as Ms. ELLE CATO.

Having spent several years providing the backing for some of today’s major contemporary artists, notably the UK super-group JAMIROQUAI, LISA STANSFIELD, WILL YOUNG and ROBBIE WILLIAMS, plus a brief stint co-fronting the UK Jazz-Soul outfit INCOGNITO, Ms. CATO has now stepped forward as a solo performer.

With this long overdue move she showcases her new collection of original songs with a brand new release simply entitled I AM. With two major record contracts signed before reaching the tender age of 18, it was clear that ELLE (pronounced L ) was destined to be a formidable musical force to be reckoned with. Her versatility has enabled her to confidently hone her unique style in a very competitive industry, whilst paying dues to the exemplary divas from whom she’s drawn musical inspiration.

Advice to anyone who loves great music is simply take heed, listen and pay attention to Ms. CATO who with her fresh, new offering I AM is not only back on the scene and here to stay, but also offers her version of sophisticatedly crafted RETRO-POP flavoured with colours of classic SOUL, JAZZ & BLUES. A truly smooth collection of emotion driven original tunes with a little something for everyone. ENJOY!!!
